A multi-part series documenting Walnut Hills and ending with the ARCHITREKS walking tours of Walnut Hills on August 29 and 30.
August is ‘Walnut Hills Month’ at Queen City Survey. We hope to have a series of posts about Walnut Hills (both East & West) this month. The month ends with the last ARCHITREKS walking tours of Walnut Hills for 2009. The tour of Walnut Hills will be offered on Saturday, August 29, at 10:00 AM and on Sunday, August 30, at 11:00 AM. Both tours depart from the Parkside Café at 1026 East McMillan Street. The approximately 1.5 – 2 hour tour will take in sites generally around the Peebles Corner Business District along with points south and east including historic Park Avenue. These tours are ‘works in progress’ and ARCHITREKS hopes to get patron response as it continues to develop and finalize the tour content.
