I thought I had been noticing an increase in graffiti all around the city and then I read this in the Downtown Residents Council Newsletter:
ALERT: HELP US STOP GRAFFITI! CALL IT IN!
If you see graffiti on a building, sidewalk, rack, etc. please help us get rid of it asap. The longer it stays up, the greater the invitation for more. Please contact DCI Ambassador Director Ron Mabry when you see graffiti. Ron will dispatch a team to photograph it, report it to the police and remove it. Ron’s number is 513-383-5075.
Guess I am not the only one noticing. I went to take a picture of graffiti at the Jeweler’s Exchange Building but thankfully it was painted over by the time I got there with my camera the next day.

It has definitely been on the increase. Pretty high quality stuff too, not just scribbles.
Sad when my sheltered little son and his equally sheltered friend (3d graders!) can discuss the various tags, their locations, the ones they see most often, etc.! Sign o' the times, indeed!
