Recap: Games 21 – 24

One huge upset marked this round of the 2009 Cincinnati March(itecture) Madness.

In the East Region:
Game 21 - No. 4 seed City Hall beat the No. 5 seed Time Star Building, 38 – 13.
Game 22 - No. 2 seed Roebling Suspension Bridge beat the No. 7 seed ‘Bishop’s Place’, 38 – 13.

In the West Region:
Game 23 - No. 4 seed Tyler Davidson Fountain beat the No. 5 seed Central Trust Tower, 31 – 19.
Game 24 - No. 2 seed Carew Tower lost to the No. 10 seed Cincinnati Observatory, 27 – 33.

Carew Tower loses a shocker to the Cincinnati Observatory. A little surprising I must say. But not unexpectedly, all the other higher seeds all win. What is mildly interesting is how easy they won with near blow-outs. The anti-fountain faction made that match a little closer but Tyler Davidson’s gift to the City won again over a stiff foe.
