Kennedy Was Here

Southeast Corner of 5th & Walnut Streets

I once saw President Reagan speak on Fountain Square. They going to put a plaque there for him?

Maybe they could put a plaque up for the anti-Reagan protesters at the Square edges who got their signs taken away. Reason: the sticks could be used as weapons.

Weird— I was there to hear Reagan on Fountain Square too. My grandmother took me and my brothers.

I remember seeing the protestors in the trees (remember when there were trees on the Square?). As an elementary school kid, I thought adults weren't supposed to climb trees.

The strange thing was that I begged my father to take me to see him. I don't remember any protesters though. I just remember being in the way back.

No, he just got a county highway instead.

He only got the county highway named after him after Bush I lost his bid for reelection.

Hamilton County Republicans are sore losers. In case you didn't know that already.
