Basketball & Football Bonus
Well it is the Monday after the announcement of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Xavier gets a No. 4 Seed in the tough East Region. UC does not get a bid. Nor do they get one to the NIT.
But I really do not want to talk basketball. I want to talk UC football. The 2009 schedule was announced recently. The schedule looks fairly balanced . . . Big East home games against Louisville, Connecticut, and West Virginia and road games against Rutgers, USF, and Pittsburgh. Added bonus is one big non-conference game, Illinois, comes here to play the Bearcats. And I do not think we have any home Thursday night games at all.

Nov. 7 – CONNECTICUT
Nov. 13 – WEST VIRGINIA
Nov. 28 – ILINOIS
Dec. 5 – at Pittsburgh
