The Queen Speaks

Quotes from and about Cincinnati

"Fountain Square is the only thing that's changed. I've worked down here for years and other than the square, it's the same." - Jonathan Carrico, Price Hill

From the August 27th issue of The Pulse when asked "What's the biggest change you've seen downtown?" Maybe I see downtown through rose colored glasses, but things have changed downtown and it is more than just Fountain Square . . . in my opinion anyway.

He hasn't noticed any more difficulty walking around on weekend evenings due to crowds?
He can still stroll into his favorite restaurant and sit down?
He must park in a garage take the elevator up to his office and never leave the building.
Sucks to be him.

Must not get out much...new businesses, renovated buildings, new infill construction, more people, more activity, and overall greater interest. If this is just a changed Fountain Square causing this impact, and nothing else, then I believe we got a much bigger bang for our buck than anyone can realize.
