Second Sundays on Main

I went to Second Sundays on Main this past weekend and spent more time taking photos of buildings than the actual event . . . or people . . . or the home tour.

Can't quite explain it but whenever I've lived in another city -- things just don't look right. The way these buildings look -- is "right," to me. I guess because I spent so much of my formative years here, these are just part of my mind's neighborhood. I like the things around the windows (they have a name, I know), the gingerbread around the eaves, the bricks, I don't know it's just the standard for me (high standards!).
