Cincinnati’s Monday Sports Manager

Football Has Begun!

The Bearcats have had two games in the past seven days. A huge 47 – 7 win at Rutgers and a 70 – 3 win at home versus Southeast Missouri State. The win at Rutgers propelled UC to No. 23 in the AP and Coaches’ poll. And the latest win propelled UC to No. 17 in the AP poll and No. 21 in the Coaches’.

The Bengals opened their season with a crazy but somehow typical loss against the Denver Broncos at Paul Brown Stadium. ‘Nuff said.

Oh, and the Reds are continuing to play baseball. They had a win streak going for a while then played the Jim Tracy (from Hamilton, OH) managed Rockies and got swept. For those interested Tuesday, September 15 is ‘Bark In The Park’ at Great American Ball Park. “A special seating area is reserved for dog owners and their pets, while the Fan Zone will turn into the ‘Dog Zone,’ with product samples and activities for both dogs and owners.” Check website for ticket prices and more information.
