‘Beacon’ Hill

A view of the tower of College Hill Presbyterian Church driving north on Hamilton Avenue.

Although altered and enlarged, the original section of the church (including the tower) was dedicated in 1890. It replaced the original church built in 1857.
I do not know who designed it. Maybe Henry Siter who did Mt. Auburn Presbyterian? Maybe Hannaford? He did nearly everything else. I’m just speculating . . . The entrance portion below was part of an addition.
