This weekend is the calm between the storms - Christmas and New Year's Eve. So I for one plan to take it easy. I'm going to catch up on some laundry, clean out one of my closets, do a little research for future posts, and maybe take in a movie. Here are a few things to do if you are less lame than I . . .
- Final Friday. It is the last one of the year.
- Striking 12. Final weekend at New Stage Collective.
- Festival of Lights. Ends on January 1.
- UC Basketball vs. Miami University. December 29 at US Bank Arena
- Xavier Basketball vs. Delaware State. December 28 at Cintas Center
I can't recommend going to see the Nutcracker. I'm still bitter.
As always, there is ice skating on Fountain Square. Last weekend the Square was hopping with all kinds of people including families and teens and yound twentysomethings. As much as it pains me I think many were downtown to see the Nutcracker. However, build the streetcar and we can still have that synergy between Fountain Square and Music Hall.
