2009 Cincinnati March(itecture) Madness

Play-in Nominations

This year I am taking nominations for the play-in game and the building or structure to get the most nominations or mentions from readers will join the field of 32. Last year I had people vote on a few choices but I can’t decide which buildings to include so I am opening it up to you! There will be no voting but the building to get mentioned the most (and maybe with some consideration by me for tie-breaks, etc.) will be in.

Please comment on this post or any subsequent post from now until 9:00 PM on Friday when nominations will close to vote for your favorite not currently in the field. You can also email me at queencitysurvey@gmail.com. The top two will go on to play in the field of 32 beginning March 8.

My vote is for Shilito's and the Ida Street Bridge.

I didn't know that about Shilito's. And I'm voting for the Ida St. Bridge just to have a bridge in this.

I've always like the George Hunt Pendleton House. Did have any idea about it's history.
