Happy Anniversary Queen City Survey!

Today marks the one year anniversary of Queen City Survey. We are at 613 posts and counting.

Some one asked why I started the blog. As a resident of Over the Rhine and advocate for downtown and city living, my aim was really just to highlight Cincinnati as a place to live, work, or visit. I thought I could add my own and slightly different perspective of the Queen City with my architectural background. In my opinion, one of this city’s great attributes is its architecture. It was this focus too that was something I thought was lacking in our local blogoshere. I wanted to compliment blogs like Building Cincinnati which is focused more on development, and blogs like UrbanCincy, Cincinnati Blog, and Nati' Life for examples which are focused more local events, issues, and the urban lifestyle. I hope I have succeeded and am looking forward to year two.
