Completed in 1909 and designed by Harry Hake. It is still in operation.

I love this little firehouse! We drive by it on purpose each week on our way home from church.

The older firehouses are not always suitable for the new trucks and equipment. I used to work in the one on Madison & Hackberry when it was Discovery Center (upstairs). Still has the "loft" for horse's hay!

The old station on Short Vine that was Zino's -- that was a good use of the space, too (not sure about the skanky club there now tho).
