Observations and overviews of Cincinnati
Just what we all need -- another chain restaurant in or near downtown.
There are lots of new local places opening up in Over-the-Rhine...be sure to check them out. That doesn't mean that you can't also enjoy some delectable chain burritos in a fantastic location.
Its a chain, but a chain everyone has wanted. Don't worry, I'm betting the lines will be so long, it will be months before anyone can get in to actually eat.I had talked to a neighbor who works in city hall about a month ago and asked him about this. He laughed and said it was the worst kept secret in Cincinnati.
I actually see a chain wanting to locate downtown as a positive. It means they think downtown can support it and it could possibly be seen by other fast food places as being a good place to do business. We currently do not have a McDonalds or Taco Bell for instance and it just strikes me as odd. (McDonalds was where CAC is currently and Burger King where the 5th & Race parking lot is currently.)
OMG, I will be able to get my Chipotle fix downtown? =)
