My recommendations for something to do this weekend
So the NAACP National Convention begins this weekend. It runs from July 12 to July 17. And Fountain Square will be the unoffical center of all activity. Live Music will occur Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Saturday night movies. (Robots starts at 7:30 PM and I, Robot immediately follows.) Come on down and be a part of the excitement downtown.
As a reminder, every second and fourth weekend Architreks has walking tours of Over the Rhine. Tours of East and West Over the Rhine begin at 11:00 AM from the Coffee Emporium on Saturday and Findlay Market area tours leave at 11:00 AM from the north side of Elder Street on Sunday.
Sunday is Second Sundays on Main so wonder around Main Street from noon to 5:00 PM for a bit then head to the Square for more music.
For those venturing beyond the basin, there is St. Rita Fest. A mega-festival if there ever was one.
