Final Countdown: Architreks!

Part VII: Season Begins!

An eight part series leading up to the beginning of the 2008 season of Architreks on Saturday, May 3.

Ok, the 2008 season starts today. I hope we have at least sparked your interest a little. For more information, check out the Architreks website.

There are a few additional items I wanted to pass along:

1. The Over the Rhine West tour on May 24 at 11:00 AM will include an Outside - In of the Symphony Hotel. The Outside - In includes going in a select property on our normal tour route. Located just to the north of Music Hall, this current restaurant and small hotel was built in 1870 as a residence for Peter Ehrgott, an early director of the May Festival. The architect was James McLaughlin. The home eventually became a boarding house and a hotel.
2. On Saturday, May 10, 2008, from 1 to 5 p.m., CPA will present a tour of six impressive historic homes in North Avondale. Most if not all of these have not been on tour before. Contact CPA for ticket information and details on all the houses and properties.
