Outside, Over the Rhine

Yesterday I checked out the new store Outside that just opened at 16 East 12th Street in Over the Rhine. I was walking home from Metronation and stopped in to say hi and welcome to the neighborhood.

It is located in the beautiful Doscher Candy Company Building, completed in 1885 and designed by Emil Rueckert. It has an unusual full height, cast iron storefront with brick and stone trim infill on the upper stories. For those interested this is the first building on the new Over the Rhine West tours that will be given by Architreks this summer.
