Cincinnati March(itecture) Madness

Recap: Games 1 - 4

The first four games of Cincinnati March(itecture) Madness produced four blow outs. Two of those victories saw upsets when the No. 6 seeds fall to the No. 11 seeds.

In the East Region:
Game 1 - No. 1 seed Music Hall beat the No. 16 seed Lombardy Building, 20 -1
Game 2 - No. 6 seed Showboat Majestic fell to No. 11 seed Withrow High School, 2 -17.

In the West Region:
Game 3 - No. 1 seed Union Terminal beat the No. 16 seed John S. Baker House, 17 - 1
Game 4 - No. 6 seed Pendleton House fell to No. 11 seed Scarlett Oaks, 4 - 15.

National Historic Landmarks in Cincinnati were seeded first taking the first six slots in each Region. But the two lowest seeded National Historic Landmarks, Showboat Majestic and the Pendleton House, could not use their status and history to over-take the larger and more sophisticated lower seeds. It is a stategy that does not bode well for the Taft Museum and the Alphonso Taft House.

On the big master tourney chart, it says the next round for Union Terminal (game 21) is March 8. I think it's a typo since UT just went on March 8. Just wondering...
