St. Bonaventure: Then and Now

Then . . .
Now . . .

Located at 1798 Queen City Avenue in South Fairmont, St. Bonaventure Parish closed in 2003 and merged with St. Leo in North Fairmont. The building was demolished in 2005. The rose window was reinstalled in Holy Cross Immaculata Church in Mt. Adams.
Historic photo from Library's Cincinnati Memory Project.

That was one kick-ass building. Those steps were right up close on the street and it great urban vibe about it.

I believe they recently tore down this remaining piece. I didn't know what it had been part of until now.

Thanks for all these before and after photos. They are great.

The pictures are beautiful, but how sad to see all the things that are torn down.
