Watching Game 1 of the World Series (I actually only saw part of it) between the Red Sox and the Rockies at historic Fenway Park reminded me of Red’s baseball this summer . . .
Watching fans get emerge from the light rail station on Gilbert Ave. that they took from points north just like at Kenmore Station in Boston. Walking the tightly packed streets of Broadway Commons, among the souvenir and hot dog stands just like on Yawkey Way in the Fenway. Grabbing drinks on Main Street after the game as fans fill the streets just like Lansdowne Street behind the Green Monster.
Oh wait. That’s just my imagination. We didn't get that . . .
